The Inn and Trail Story
For sisters Corinne Cochran and Annabel Moore, food has always been the thread running through their lives. Corinne spent 43 years as a partner in an executive search firm before a quiet moment of clarity told her it was time for something new. Annabel spent 36 years raising her four children across the U.S. and London, running a storage facility business, and serving on the board for the Friends of the Glen Lake Community Library, all while never losing her love of baking. When the two found themselves shadowing a shift at Inn and Trail Gourmet, it didn't take long to know they'd found their next chapter. They like to say they live by the store's own motto: a compass in one hand and a fork in the other. Annabel is the navigator, drawn to new routes and adventures, while Corinne is the one holding the fork, mixing, tasting, and feeding the people she loves. Now they share the counter and the kitchen, learning the day to day rhythms of the shop together and making Inn and Trail their own, one recipe and one season at a time.
